| The commemorable Tokyo considering No.200 number became the shrine to have
deified Tokugawa Ieyasu who did the building of the basics in Tokyo in
now by Edo culture. Toshoguu is the shrine to have deified Tokugawa Ieyasu. Here, Toshoguu at the lawn is originally the one which met Yasukuni in Zojo-ji but it the breaking faith of Buddhism-Shintoism identity in the early years of Meiji era moved to the present place. 現 main hall of the shrine was reconstructed in 1969 after burned down in the war damage. The big gingko of "the hand planting" that Tokugawa 3 brigadier army Iemitsu set in Toshoguu establishment exists in the right at the main hall of the shrine (It is not in the photograph). |
