Tokyo National Museum (Ueno)

The history in Tokyo National Museum is old and the Ministry of Education is Yushima Confucian Shrine the Meiji 5(1872) year, and it held the first exhibition and is the beginning as the museum and it is in Tokyo National Museum that, after moved to Ueno Park the Meiji 15(1882) year after that, it leads in the present.
The pavilion is the museum where there are "KAKATURUHODO", a volume in the 1st of circles if thinking that it separates into five of "main building" "the Oriental building" "the Heisei building" "the Horyuuji treasury building" "the table 慶 building" and that it let's see all displays. There is only National Museum and at "the Japanese gallery" at the main building which is displayed in the usual organization, the exhibit of the national treasure and the important cultural asset and so on is introduced and when knowing Japanese culture, it is the museum where to miss isn't made. For the foreigner excursionist who came to Japan such as the sculpture, Sue 磁, the sword, it is an interesting display.
Admission fee money is extremely inexpensive with 600 yen of adults but the fee becomes high when there are special planning exhibition and so on. In the time, it becomes with nine thirty-17 o'clock (to sixteen thirty of the entry), but depending on the special exhibition, in Friday, it extends until 20 o'clock, and the weekend is extended at 18 o'clock and it is possible to appreciate slowly until night, too. Way, the one to have walked more actually than walking from Ueno station from the Uguisudani station is nearer. It is new "The Heisei building".

The Heisei building is the one of which His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince's marriage was open the Heisei 11(1999) year by commemorating it. The 1st floor becomes an archaeology exhibition hall, the exhibition hall where a special exhibition is opened about the 2nd floor and is equipped with the auditorium and so on, too.

It was selling the pieces of fruit, agar cubes, and bean jam served in syrup of Yoshinobu of the long-established store and Tsuruya of Kyoto confectionery.

It is the oldest building "The table 慶 building".

It is the one which commemorated Emperor Taisho's (being a Crown Prince then) marriage at the oldest building in Tokyo National Museum and ordered it and of it it was opened to 42(1909). At the full-scale first museum in Japan, the design is J.. There is a dome roof in Katayama Tokuma who is a pupil on Condor, at the center and on either side and there is relief of the draftsman's outfit and the tool and the musical instrument and so on in the outer wall in the upper part. Showa 53(1978) It is specified by the important cultural asset the year. Formerly, it was doing usual display but it becomes the place which does an education popularization activity from April, 2007 when the remodeling ended.

"Horyuuji treasury building"

Formerly, the being of it per week was done making public on only 1 day but the present new treasury building became exhibited to the Heisei 11(1999) year every day by being open. The Horyuuji treasury building is the one which was opened the Showa 39(1964) year as the pavilion which displays save, gathering a Horyuuji offering treasury and the image of the Buddha style and so on can line up. There is a restaurant in the 1st floor.

It is on the right at the main building and in the becoming at it "The Oriental building".

The Oriental building became an Asian gallery and opened the Showa 43(1968) year as the ones such as China and Korean Peninsula, the South East Asia, India, Egypt which display Oriental art and archaeology one. A mummy and so on are displayed. It says that the inside becomes a wellhole and that it becomes the exhibition hall which goes up the half floor. (Because the becoming time had run out in the evening, it didn't go inside).
