The old Iwasaki mansion garden (Ikenohata)

Old Iwasaki mansion (Meiji 29) was built as this mansion of Iwasaki house which is a founder in the Mitsubishi combine in 1896 and was designed by Josiah Condor of the English. With the western wooden building which represents modern Japan, the decorations of Jacoby Ann form are done and are specified by the important cultural asset in 1999. It is the park which was opened in 2001 after about 10-year restoration later (Heisei 13). When heading for Ikenohata through Shinobazunoike from Ueno station, there is a garden where there is this Western house, and it is possible to enjoy Ueno who is different from the atmosphere of Ameyoko in Ueno again and he is funny. It is open throughout the year except 400 yen of admission fee adults, the New Year's until 9 o'clock of-17 o'clock open time.
