Ebisu garden place is the compound redevelopment of mixed Youth who practiced
in 1994 in the vacant lot at Sapporo beer Ebisu factory.
In the site, including the head office of the Sapporo beer, the job, the
dwelling and the quotient are the redevelopment which was made incorporated
to the office area, the restaurant town, the department store, the movie
theater, Tokyo photo museum, the hotel and then the house. In the downtown,
as inner City problem, the decrease of the resident population about night
becomes a problem and the development always, and to be necessary in the
redevelopment in recent years for and for a residential area to be juxtaposed
as much as the saying at it is done.
It is the building of the Sapporo beer station brick style.
Sapporo beer Ebisu factory was the place of the first beer origination
in Japan and foundation was begun in 1889. Ebisu station, too, is the one
which was established because of the beer shipment and the name of the
station, too, is the one which was put, taking from the Yebisu beer. In
recent years, it became not possible to support by the narrowness of the
factory site in case of increased production and the reinforcement of the
