| In Tokyo station Yaesu-guchi, the redevelopment continues. Daimaru opens in 1954 in the railroad hall in Tokyo station Yaesu-guchi (Showa 29) and becomes a face in Tokyo station. It was a department store, but it moved (Heisei 19) to 低層部 of "GURANTOUKIYOUNO-SUTAWA" which was complete with the redevelopment at the Tokyo station city (Tokyo Station City) which the JR East and the private developer are proceeding with around Tokyo station, becoming a center and it became open in the renewal on November 6th in 2007. It features and to be in the basement so far as "the "DEPA" basement" takes a general food (the souvenir and Suites Hotel and so on) counter to the 1st floor and makes to arrange as it is easy for the tourist who takes the Superexpress now to buy a souvenir. The cosmetic counter is the neighborhood, and it increases to 43 brands for the working office girl and it is attempting to be enriched and here, all the 2nd floor floors become a cosmetic counter. The building (the railroad hall) at old department store is closed down, and it is demolished in time and becomes without leaving any trace. Newly, the building is the deck where "Grand roof" is called without being built and a twin tower on north Tower and South Tower is linked with the vacant lot. The complete schedule in 2013 "The Tokyo Station City conception" that the neighborhood of Tokyo station became incorporated along with the Marunouchi mouth red brick station building restoration is steadily realized. |
